5 is proud to present the following shows for our second season
at the Baiden Street Theatre:
The Arabian Nights,
by Sidney Grundy
A comedy from the pen of that hilarious farceur, Sidney
Grundy, the play pits dull resectability against the silken glamour
of the ancient kingdom of Haroun al Raschid,wih breathtakingly comical
results. Fiday October 7th until Saturday October 22nd, Thursdays, Fridays,
and Saturdays. Group bookings for Sunday afternoons only,
"The Knack ( and how to get it)" by Anne Jellicoe
The comedy that captured the sixties. Short skirts, new
wave and all! Fresh and fizzy as it was when it first captured London's
West End, it was also the play that celebrated the changeover of Kingston’s
Grand Theatre from Cinema to Theatre -also in the Sixties and performed
then as now, by that adventurous new company, Theatre 5! Thursday November
24th to Saturday December 10th. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays Group

"I Knock at the door" by Sean O'Casey
A dramatized reading of the famous playwrights early years
in Dublin, with all the poetry, comedy, and dramatic brilliance of his
